In a first place, we can not stress enough that using a condom over the toy in such situations is the best thing you could do from the start.

To lessen the risk of infection you can boil silicone or metal items for about 3 minutes, or soak them in a 10% bleach solution (1 part bleach to 10 parts water).

Of course you can not soak or boil a
vibrator. For that reason we recommend not to share them with others or always cover it with a condom.
To clean your very personal plastic vibrator wash it without immersing with a damp cloth, mild soap and hot water.
Many vibes are sheathed in latex or jelly sleeves, which are porous materials that absorb and retain body fluids, oils and the bacteria along with it. To give those bacteria some special attention we recommend using
an
ForPlay Adult Toy Cleanser. This cleanser contains nonoxynol-9 which proved to be a quite effective detergent for a number of viruses. Delude 1 tablespoon of cleanser to a cup of warm water and apply it with damp cloth. Rinse the cleanser off and dry the toy with a towel.
Acrylic toys do not withstand boiling or the prolonged high heat dishwashing. High temperature can soften the material and deform the sculpted shapes.
Also don't try to clean an acrylic toy with alcohol or any other solvent. Alcohol will crack the surface and inner body of material with multiple microscopic cracks. It will not destroy the toy or inhibit its functionality, but, most certainly, will ruin the gorgeous looks.

All toys made of
CyberskinTM or similar 'ultra-realistic' materials demand tender care. We strongly recommend to keep them for your own very personal use.
To keep them clean, soft and long-lasting you can use the ingredients included in
a
Cyberskin Care Kit.
Or you can wash them in a warm water with mild soap, dry them well and lightly dust with cornstarch.

Cleaning a leather
harness is not much of a trouble. Just don't soak it in water. Use a cloth soaked in warm water with soap and dry it out with a towel. Pay special attention to metal D-rings and buckles, so they don't get rusty.
The Malibu style harnesses is made of nylon and elastic bands. It can be most commonly machine washed and dried.
